Our company mission at IT’S LIT® Weddings & Events is to grow our service offerings through providing a consistent experience to our clients, resulting in a reputation for quality and value in our services. The mission of our blog is to inform customers about our services, share unique experiences; and educate clients, vendors, and the industry as a whole through our own expertise and training.
Our blog content is conceptualized by Alex Brown, owner of IT’S LIT Brands LLC, the formal/legal formation and owner of the brand IT’S LIT Weddings, and Events. Alex draws on nearly a decade and a half of wedding and event industry experience, and shares his unique expertise and experiences through our blog.
Alex’s background comes from DJing, which he began around 11 years old. Alex actually bought the company IT’S LIT RI in December 2021 and has worked over the past few years to merge it into his existing company, formerly known as DJAB entertainment. From a legal/tax perspective a single LLC (IT’S LIT Brands LLC) now exists operating a number of brands, including IT’S LIT Weddings & Events (formerly IT’S LIT RI and IT’S LIT AV/EPR Team) and DJ Alex Brown Entertainment (formerly DBA DJAB entertainment and DJ Alex Brown). IT’S LIT Brands LLC was established January 1, 2024, primarily to change the tax status of the company to that of an S corporation, well remaining in a more simple LLC structure (none of the staff, ownership, or services changed).
Alex’s motto for running the company is that businesses that fail to adapt and change with the times, are doomed to fail, therefore our company is constantly changing to adapt to clients needs .In an effort to communicate our expertise while also keeping the website simple for customers, we are moving much of our more in-depth content to blog format. For returning clients, you will notice a shift in the content listed on our website service pages, to be more basic service information oriented. This will allow visitors to dive into blog posts for more detailed information.
