Our 4ft letters, 4ft numbers, and 4ft symbols, collectively “4ft marquee signs”, offer a larger format size and different style than our 3ft marquees. We have the unique ability to mix and match both styles, or keep your entire setup within one size, since we have a full inventory in both sizes. In this post, we will discuss some of the benefits you may want to consider when choosing which signs and sizes are right for your event.
Attractive Backs on 4ft Letters & Numbers
Our 4ft letters are made in a slightly different style, which has a number of benefits. In the next section we will explain how and why this is, but most importantly, the backs of these letters are painted white just like the front, and most of these letters and numbers in the 4ft size have white wires, which make for a very attractive looking back, compared to other letters (especially our competitors) which are oftentimes not painted, and have loose, brown wires hanging out. We are so thrilled to share this that we are also including photo proof of how they look for you!
Backs of Letter Base Boxes
Letter Base Boxes can also be enclosed in the back upon request with white fabric. If the set up is outdoors this will add to the set up time.
Water Resistance
Because the letters are painted all the way around, 4ft Letters and their equivalent 4ft Numbers, have a higher tolerance for water than their 3ft counterparts. This doesn’t mean that they are “rated” for outdoor or wet location use, especially since the sockets which hold the bulbs are certainly not rated as such. It does mean that we are more flexible with light rain on select 4ft letters and 4ft numbers. Some exclusions do apply, such as letters and numbers that require their base to support them (think F, P, 4) as these could be damaged if any rain gets inside the structure.
